Thomas Ritter is an associate attorney at Thompson Burton PLLC. His practice area primarily focuses on multi-level marketing law. He assists a variety of businesses, from well-established to new start-ups, on meeting regulatory compliance.
Thomas is a Nashville native who graduated from Father Ryan High School. He attended the University of Tennessee and graduated magna cum laude from the Chancellor’s Honors Program with a degree in Political Science. Thomas went on to attend law school at the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he participated in Moot Court. He competed in UT College of Law’s oldest Moot Court competition, Advocates’ Prize, where he won the distinction of Best Appellate Brief and was overall runner-up. Thomas also received recognition for obtaining the highest grade in more than one writing-intensive course during his time in law school.
Thomas lives in Nashville with his wife, Alexandra, and their dog, Burton. He is a lifelong fan of both the Tennessee Volunteers and Denver Broncos. In his free time, Thomas is an avid runner and voracious reader. He also enjoys drinking coffee and trying new wines.
