Sam Shirley joined Thompson Burton in 2022 as an associate attorney in the firm’s Commercial Real Estate practice group. Sam’s practice consists of assisting clients in the acquisition, disposition, development, financing, and leasing of commercial real property.
Sam graduated from Belmont University College of Law. Prior to joining Thompson Burton as a clerk in law school, Sam interned for the District Attorney’s Office for the 16th Judicial District of Tennessee as well as Byrd Legal PLLC. During law school he was a member of Belmont College of Law’s chapter of the Federalist Society and the Criminal Law Society. Sam also received his undergraduate degree from Belmont University.
Sam has lived in the Nashville area since 2006. In his free time, Sam enjoys fishing and rooting for sports teams including the Tennessee Volunteers, Tennessee Titans, Atlanta Braves, and Nashville Predators.
