Every business leader I know worries about recruiting and keeping talented people. Without them, any business suffers.
Conversely, one of the most affirming moments is when top talent wants to join your business because of the opportunities and the culture you helped create.
Chandler represents the bright, young talent that co-founder Kevin Thompson and I have prioritized recruiting the last few years. He was most recently a law clerk for the Honorable Frank G. Clement Jr. at Tennessee Court of Appeals. He graduated first in his class at Belmont University College of Law in 2015. He interned with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and U.S. Attorney’s Office of Middle Tennessee. And he was an editor of the Belmont Law Review.
And it didn’t hurt that he received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee – a place for which Kevin and I have a strong affinity.
Chandler will concentrate on commercial real estate development and finance.
He and his wife, Megan, a school teacher, and their infant son live in Franklin.
Please join me in welcoming Chandler to Thompson Burton.[social_warfare]
