Nashville-Area Law Firm Adds 20th Attorney and Eyes Expansion
Thompson Burton PLLC is pleased to announce that seasoned lawyer, Bryan Echols, will join the firm as a partner beginning in April. He will continue to focus his practice on commercial real estate, land use, and lending.
Echols was most recently an attorney at Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis LLP where he built on his reputation handling challenging annexation, zoning and land-use applications in Franklin and Williamson County.
“Bryan represents everything we look for in a potential partner,” said founding partner Walt Burton. “Skill, passion, experience, a team-player attitude, and more. He is going to be a great addition to Thompson Burton.”
“Thompson Burton’s model is the future of law firms,” said Echols. “The firm’s culture is ideal for attorneys focused on excelling at work and in their personal lives. That’s rare, and exactly what I was looking for at this point in my career.”
Echols has been recognized multiple years in Best Lawyers and serves as an adjunct faculty member at the Owen Management School of Business. He and his wife have three adult children, one of whom lives abroad, one working in Nashville, and one who is a U.S. Air Force pilot. Echols himself is a former Air Force Judge Advocate and graduate of the Air Force Academy.
Echols is the 20th attorney at Thompson Burton, which is somewhat of a milestone for the firm.
“The firm’s growth has exceeded everything – in both quantity and quality – we could have hoped six years ago,” said Burton. “It’s amazing to watch this talented team continue to grow and expand our practice areas.”
With Echols’ hiring, Thompson Burton has fully utilized its office space in Cool Springs and is searching for the right location to open a second office in Nashville.
