Biography
Catherine Moore is an associate attorney practicing family law at Thompson Burton PLLC. She works closely with John Hollins, Jr. and L.B. McCullum, two distinguished domestic law partners at the firm, to guide clients through divorce and post-divorce matters. Prior to joining Thompson Burton as an associate attorney, Catherine clerked for the firm. It was during this time she discovered her passion for family law.
Catherine received her law degree from Belmont College of Law. She was a law clerk for the Honorable Robert L. Holloway, Jr. of the Tennessee Court of CriminalAppeals and for the Office of the Solicitor General at the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office during law school. On campus, she served as an Article and Note Editor for the Belmont Law Review and as Vice President of the Family Law Society. Catherine is also an alumna of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she was a member of the Haslam Scholars Program, the university’s prestigious interdisciplinary scholarship and honors program.
Outside of work, Catherine enjoys playing tennis, cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers, and checking places off of her ever-growing Nashville bucket list.
