Biography
Mollie Gass Bauer’s practice focuses on bank finance, real estate, commercial
transactions, commercial leasing, and general business planning.
Mollie regularly represents both borrowers and lenders on loan transactions, assisting
with both asset-based and real estate secured financing. Prior to entering the private
sector, Mollie focused on disciplinary actions related to inappropriate prescribing by
healthcare professionals. Mollie also has experience in healthcare liability and
construction defect defense litigation, and she utilizes this litigation experience to assist
business clients in determining the value of potential lawsuits being considered.
Mollie is an active member of the Nashville Bar Association, Tennessee Bar
Association, and the Lawyer’s Association for Women, Mario Griffin Chapter. She has
previously served on the board for board of the NBA’s Young Lawyer’s Division, the
Lawyers Association of Women, Marion Griffin Chapter and the Executive Committee
for Belmont University College of Law American Inn of Court. In addition to her
involvement in the legal community, Mollie also serves on the Next Generation of the
Next Door board.
A native of Greeneville, Tennessee, Mollie lives in Nashville with her husband, Walker,
a logistics professional, their son, Andy, and rescue dog, Pepper. Outside of her
professional and community activities, Mollie and her family can be found at their local
Crossfit gym or frequenting any number of Nashville’s local eateries.
