Biography
Johnathan Billings is an associate in Thompson Burton’s Commercial Real Estate practice group. He specializes in real estate finance, the acquisition and disposition of real property, leasing, land use agreements, and zoning.
Prior to joining Thompson Burton, Johnathan worked in the Nashville office of an international law firm, focusing on real estate matters and global location strategies. Johnathan has experience representing owners, developers, and lenders in a diverse range of real estate transactions. He also has experience representing clients in procuring State and local economic development incentives, including tax abatements and jobs and investment tax credits.
Johnathan is admitted to practice in Tennessee and Alabama. During his time at the University of Tennessee College of Law, Johnathan received the CALI Award of Academic Excellence in both Mergers & Acquisitions and Space Law.
Johnathan and his wife, Beryl, live in Huntsville with their son, Conway and their two golden retrievers. Together, they enjoy playing golf, fishing, and supporting the New Orleans Saints.
